Airline — cabin & ground experience

Cathay
Pacific

Toronto to Hong Kong in business class, onward to Jakarta, and back again — a thirteen-hour leg shot from the seat, in real time, with no second take available.

The work covers the parts of a journey a passenger actually experiences rather than the ones a brochure shows: the lie-flat seat on the long haul, the cabin photographed after every other passenger had deboarded, and the layover at HKG; the noodle bar, the coffee bar, and the quiet corners that turn a connection into a break rather than a wait.

Cathay was named a top-three airline in the world by Skytrax the same year. The aim was to show why that rating is earned at seat level, not in a press release.
